La familia de Helie Salas junto con la Agrupación Fotográfica de Villena, convocan el V Concurso Internacional de Fotografía “HELIE MEMORIAL” reconocido por la Confederación Española de Fotografía.

TEMÁTICA:

El tema del concurso es “LA MUJER VIAJERA”.  En esta edición pedimos fotografías donde, la mujer y el viaje, sean los ejes temáticos de reportajes fotográficos realizados en cualquier lugar del mundo.

PARTICIPACIÓN:

Podrán participar en el concurso las personas de cualquier nacionalidad o residencia.

Cada participante podrá enviar hasta 4 fotografías, que deberán ser inéditas en este salón, copia única (no seriada) y que no hayan sido premiadas en otros concursos.

Participación desde el extranjero:

Debido a los bloqueos de fotografías en los transportes, gastos inesperados por Aduanas, así como nuestro deseo de facilitarles y abaratarles la participación en el concurso, la participación desde fuera de España tendrá que realizarse obligatoriamente a través de la empresa YOLOMANDO.

Para participar, únicamente deberá seguir los pasos que le indique la web www.yolomando.com y ellos se ocuparán de la impresión y montaje de las fotografías, copia del CD y su correcta presentación al concurso. 

Participación desde España:

También recomendamos desde  España la participación a través de la empresa YOLOMANDO, garantizando así la fácil y correcta presentación de sus fotografías sin gasto de envío.

También se aceptarán envíos por cuenta propia desde España, siempre que se reciban las fotografías antes del cierre del plazo de admisión y lleguen libres de gastos a la Casa de la Cultura de Villena, plaza de Santiago nº 7  - 03400 Villena (España) con la indicación “HELIE MEMORIAL” en el paquete.

PRESENTACIÓN DE OBRAS:

Los trabajos deberán ser reproducidos en soportes de alta calidad. Las obras irán obligatoriamente montadas en un passepartout de tamaño 40x50 cm de color blanco o negro. No se admitirán presentaciones en passepartout de tono crema, presentaciones en cartulina delgada o cartón pluma.

La técnica utilizada, el tamaño y la proporción de las fotografías será totalmente libre, siempre y cuando no superen las medidas del passepartout.

Las fotografías presentadas llevarán en su reverso el título de la fotografía y los datos del autor/a: nombre, apellidos, DNI, domicilio, teléfono, email y país.

También se indicará si opta a los premios especiales.

En el embalaje,  también se presentarán los archivos digitales en un CD al tamaño de impresión, en 300ppp, formato JPG, calidad 12, nombrados con el título de la imagen.

Para acceder a los premios especiales, se aportará fotocopia del documento oficial que justifique su nacionalidad y residencia. (DNI, Pasaporte…)

PLAZO DE RECEPCIÓN

El plazo para la recepción de las obras finalizará el día 8 de febrero de 2016, no aceptándose las fotografías que lleguen a nuestra dirección con posterioridad.

Un Jurado de Admisión, nombrado por la organización podrá retirar las fotografías que no cumplan con las bases.

FALLO:

El fallo del concurso será público y se llevará a cabo en la sala de exposiciones de la Casa de la Cultura de Villena, el día 13 de febrero de 2016 a las 10:00 horas. El Jurado estará compuesto por: Gervasio Sánchez Fernández,  Camilla de Maffei, Carlos Balsalobre.

PREMIOS:

Se establecen los siguientes premios:

Primer premio ............................................................................... 2000 euros y medalla de oro de la CEF

Segundo premio .......................................................................... 1000 euros y medalla de plata de la CEF

Tercer premio ................................................................................. 500 euros y medalla de bronce de la CEF

Mejor Participante Extranjero................................................... 500 euros.

Mejor Participante Local............................................................. 500 euros.

Reproducción de 10 obras finalistas en formato 60x60cm

Todos los participantes optarán a los tres primeros premios.

Los participantes extranjeros no residentes en España optarán también al premio especial “Mejor Participante Extranjero”.

Los participantes nacidos en Villena  y los residentes en Villena optarán también al premio especial “Mejor Participante Local”.

Un mismo autor no podrá recibir más de un premio. Si, una vez resuelto el fallo, se comprobara que se han seleccionado varias obras de un mismo autor, los premios de menor categoría serán sustituidos por las fotografías de otros autores que hubieran quedado siguientes en la selección.

Ninguno de los premios podrá quedar desierto.

ENTREGA DE PREMIOS Y EXPOSICIÓN:

La entrega de premios se llevará a cabo el sábado 5 de marzo de 2016 a las 20:00 horas en la sala de exposiciones de la Casa de la Cultura de Villena. A dicho acto se rogará la asistencia de las personas premiadas o representantes de los mismos.

Con las obras premiadas y seleccionadas se realizará una exposición en la sala de exposiciones de la Casa de la Cultura de Villena que estará abierta del 5 de marzo al 3 de abril de 2016.

DEVOLUCIÓN DE OBRAS:

Una vez terminada la exposición, y en un plazo no superior a 60 días la organización gestionará las devoluciones de fotografías del siguiente modo:

No se devolverán fotografías a domicilios de Villena y su comarca. Por este motivo se anunciarán en la web del concurso y las redes sociales, las fechas y horarios para que puedan recogerlas personalmente en la Casa de Cultura de Villena.

Se devolverá libres de gastos las fotografías que tengan como remite un domicilio en España, excepto las de Villena o comarca.

Todas las fotografías que participen desde el extranjero y otras que no sean recogidas por sus autores, se depositarán en Yolomando para facilitar a los participantes futuros usos de las mismas.

ACEPTACIÓN:

La participación en el concurso implica la aceptación de estas bases.

Cualquier aspecto no contemplado en las bases podrá ser resuelto por la organización o los miembros del jurado.

Las fotos serán tratadas con cuidado y respeto, pero se declina cualquier responsabilidad de posibles sustracciones, pérdidas o daños ocasionados.

Los participantes se responsabilizan de la autoría y propiedad de las obras presentadas.

La organización no se responsabiliza de las reclamaciones que pudieran hacerse sobre el derecho de imagen de las personas físicas o jurídicas retratadas, teniendo que responder por ello el autor/a de la obra.

Los autores premiados cederán de modo indefinido y en exclusiva a la organización Helie Memorial (entidad patrocinadora del concurso), los derechos de propiedad que sean necesarios para la reproducción, transformación y explotación de las obras premiadas, con el fin de reproducirlas a gran formato y cederlas para su venta benéfica a favor de la Asociación Nacional de lucha contra el Cáncer.

Los autores premiados conservarán los derechos de autoría de su obra, que le reserva la Ley de Propiedad Intelectual, por lo que serán citados en cualquier uso futuro de la obra.  Los autores podrán hacer uso de sus obras premiadas como promoción personal o en concepto de currículum artístico, citando siempre a la organización Helie Memorial como propietaria de las mismas.

Todos los participantes, por el hecho de participar en el concurso, autorizan a la organización para publicar  las imágenes en cualquier medio promocional del concurso, citando siempre el nombre del autor/a.

Helie Salas' family together with the AFV convene the V International  Photography Contest “Helie Memorial” which has been recognized by the Spanish Confederation of Photography.

THEME

The theme is “Travelling Woman”. On this edition of the contest we are looking for pictures where woman and travel are the thematic objectives of photographic reportages performed all over the world.

PARTICIPATION

The contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers worldwide.

Each contestant may submit up to 4 photographs. They must not have been shown in this contest before. Photographs are required to be the unique copy (not mass-produced), and must have never been awarded any prize in any  concourse.

Participation from abroad:

Due to transport blockages, unexpected custom charges and also with the intention of  facilitating participation and reducing  its  spending,   participation from outside Spain will be compulsorily carried out through YOLOMANDO company.

In order to participate you will need to visit de web site www.yolomando.com  and follow their instructions to make your order. They will take care of  the  production of your work  and the correct presentation of it.

Participation from Spain:

We  recommend authors  who are participating from Spain to use YOLOMANDO services . Yolomando guarantees the proper participation in the concourse with no postage charges.


Independent entries will also be accepted coming from authors submiting their works

from Spain only if they are received within the due date of admission and free of charge at Casa de la Cultura in Villena, Plaza de Santiago No. 7 - 03400 Villena (Spain). Entries must be labelled with the indication “HELIE MEMORIAL” on the package.

Works will be reproduced in high quality supports. Works must be mounted in a black or white color, 40x50 cm passepartout. Presentations in a cream color passepartout, presentations in cardboard or foam core board will not be admitted.

The used technic and the size of the photographs will be freewill, whenever they do not exceed the passepartout measures.

All photographs submitted will carry on its back their title and the author’s details: name, surname, ID number, postal address, phone number, e-mail address and country.  Participants who opt for special prizes must also indicate it on the back of the photographs.

Inside the package, each contestant must also include (on a CD) a digital file of the submitted works in the same size as the reproductions, with a resolution of 300 dpi on JPEG format and named with the title of the photograph.

In order to opt for special prizes, participants will also include a copy of any official document which justifies their nationality and place of residence (ID Card, Passport...).

DEADLINE

The deadline for entries will be on February 8th, 2016 and works which arrive at our address  later than February 8^th will not be accepted.

An admission Jury, selected by the Organisation, will be allowed to withdraw those photographs that are not in compilance with the contest Terms & Conditions.

CONTEST DECISION

The jury's decisions will be public and will be held on the Exhibition Hall of Casa de la Cultura in Villena on February the 13rd, 2016 at 10:00 am.

The jury will consist of: Gervasio Sánchez Fernández,  Camilla de Maffei, Carlos Balsalobre.

PRIZES


The following prizes have been established :

First prize: 2.000 Euros  & Gold Medal from CEF


Second prize: 1.000 Euros & Silver Medal from CEF


Third prize: 500 Euros  & Bronze Medal from CEF

Bes participant from abroad: prize 500 Euros

Best local participant: prize 500 Euros

Reproduction of 10  works chosen as finalists on 60x60cm format

All the participants will opt for the first, second and third prize.

Participants from abroad who are not residing in Spain will opt for the  special “ best participant from abroad” prize aswell.

Participants born in Villena and residents in Villena will opt for the  “best local participant” aswell.

The same author may not receive more than one prize. If, after deciding the awards, it is noticed that several works by the same author have been awarded, the lower prizes will be granted to the next selected work.

None of the prizes may be declared void.

AWARDS AND EXHIBITION

The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 5^th 2016 at 08:00 pm, at the Exhibition Hall of Casa de la Cultura in Villena. The prize winners, or their representatives, are kindly requested to attend this ceremony.

The exhibition of the winning and other selected photographs will take place at the Exhibition Hall of Casa de la Cultura, in Villena, from March 5^th to April 3rd, 2016.

RETURN OF WORKS


Once the exhibition finishes and within a maximum period of  60 days, the Promoter will return the photographs as follows:

The promoter will not return works to street adresses in Villena and its surrounding area. Participants from Villena and its surrounding area will be able to collect their works from the Casa de la Cultura after the exhibition period. For this reason,  collection dates and hours will be published on the contest's web page and social networks.

The promoter will return works free of charge only to those authors with a residence in Spain, except for those living in the Villena city and its surroundings.

In the case of participansts from abroad and those ones which had not been collected by their authors, works will be located at Yolomando in order to facilitate their availability for future utilization.

ACCEPTANCE

Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

The Promoter or the Jury members will decide any issue not covered by the Terms & Conditions.

Photographs will be treated with care and respect, although the Promoter will not accept any liability in case of theft, loss or damage.

Contestant must warrant that each submitted photography is their own work and that they own the copyright.

The Promoter will not be liable for any claim related to the image rights.

The winners will agree to grant, indefinitely, the exclusive exploitation to Helie Memorial Organisation (promoter of the competition), and the necessary ownership rights over the winning works, to reproduce, transform and exploit these, in order to enlarge the work and grant the rights for an eventual charity sale in favour of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC). The referred works will always quote the author’s name.

The winners will keep the author’s rights of their works, which are guaranteed by the intellectual property law. And so, the author’s name will always be quoted in a future use of his work. Authors are granted to use their awarded works as a personal promotion, or for their artistic curriculum, but always mentioning the Helie Memorial Organisation as the owner of these works.

All participants, just by the fact of participating in the concourse, authorize the Promoter to publish the pictures in any promotional media of the competition, always quoting the author’s name.
